I was just wondering if anybody else is having this problem When i load Super Mario Galaxy 2(retail) with Gecko 1.9.3 using the hack mod codes it freezes up after about 5 mins of game play i was just wondering what could be causing this problem
I'm running my Wii off the 4.2 update no mod chip just using soft mods all my other games work just fine thru Gecko 1.9.3 except Super Mario Galaxy 2
What codes do you have on? Maybe you need to update your codes.
Gecko codes for super mario galaxy 2 here:http://geckocodes.org/ (http://geckocodes.org/)
yea I've tried those codes over & over at geckocodes still getting the same results game freezes up after 5 mins of game play
Are you sure it's 1.9.3? If so, try 1.9.3.1. Might make a difference.
Thanks for the information i will give it a try
Still Having The Same Problem Game Still Freezes Up & I'm Using Gecko 1.9.3.1 With The Latest GeckoCodes I Also Tired Deleting Gecko & Reinstalling It Still No Help Am I The Only One Have This Problem
Still no luck its seems like when i get to a stage with Luigi On there thats when it freezes up most
What region are you in America, Japan, EU, or AU? make sure you use the right regional codes, there is some universal codes for all regions if your not sure.
Are you using a usb gecko/usb device or an sd card? I'm pretty sure your doing most of the right things...
america region also using a sd card i tired using the universal codes for all regions today none of them worked all my other games work just fine except for this one when i open them with gecko 1.9.3.1
So you would be using the NTSC-U codes, make sure you have the game's ID as SB4E01.
Did you buy the game in America?
yes sir i bought the game here in the U.S & also using NTSC-U codes the game's ID as SB4E01
I don't think it matters but did you buy your wii in the us? What version homebrew channel do you own?
I don't know what's wrong... :-\ Like I said, try limiting your codes it might help you.
Normaly the hook would just be set to default. Try that because I have mine on default for every game I play and it works.
Ok i will give that a try sir oh also i brought my Wii from America
Sorry to dig up an old topic but did you get any positive results? I get black screen - does anyone think it could be down to my menu? It's 4.0U - upgrade or downgrade maybe? HBC is quite old now but (I'm an offliner) and don't know how to upgrade the HBC. Would that maybe make a difference?

Well if an update hasn't come automaticaly to your HBC, which happened to me unexpectedly, then you can go here after updating your wii to 4.3 (if you want to) to see how to install the HBC on a 4.3 menu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQ8FP8ClcZk
