Today the 100th Wii hacker (http://geckocodes.org/?hacker=Mathew_Wi) to post their work to GeckoCodes.org did just that!
I believe a round of w00ts are in order! ;p
Other statistics you might enjoy:
The database launched 1 year, 9 months, 7 days ago- Aug 7th, 2008.
In that time there have been 2122 updates spread across over 1000 games!
The most games hacked by a single hacker is 473 by ZiT (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?hacker=ZiT)!
Second and third place are at 202 (GMO (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?hacker=GMO)) and 72 (TNTkryzt (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?hacker=TNTkryzt)) respectively!*
The most codes hacked by a single hacker for a single game (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RMHE08) is over 3,333 by Skiller (http://geckocodes.org/index.php?hacker=Skiller)! And that's like more than 1/3 the way to being over 9000!
And since Aug 7, 2009- exactly a year after launch- Google Analytics has been tracking traffic on the database:
The most visitors in a single day- 2,875 on Jan 30, 2010!
There have been 705,084 visits spanning 170 countries/territories around the globe! (as far as I can see on the map- there's only like 25 left before the database has been visited in every country!!)
Huge thanks to all the Wii hackers and esp to those who made it all possible! *wi-five*
*I could be wrong, the db doesn't actually keep track of that, I just had to remember who hacked a lot and check it... ;p
ps: W00T! ;)
Nice . :) now to 1000 :P
HOORAY! :D
Also huge thanks to the guys who made this all possible ;)
Nuke, Link, brkirch, dcx2 and... James0x57! :D
And all the hackers who spent day and night making the codes.
And don't forget the users who use the codes, without them this would all be unnecessary.
And while I am on the thank streak I could as well thank Team Twiizers, kenobi, Y.S., DevKitPro team, Frank Wille, and all other guys making homebrew, Gecko and this community possible! :D
Congrats everybody!
eh, ZiT  ZiT has hacked 883 Games  it's not normal.
most hackers have ~40-70 Games hacked ^^
but, i say congratulation and i hope for the future, better supports and friendly helps and no No threats of bans :D
and a good Partner site is same Good Communitys and Supporting and NOT Banning Community <_<
Ozelot, have you ever heard the phrase "don't poke a hornet's nest"?
The moderators will only ban people who violate the forum rules. If we didn't ban users who misbehave, the forum would descend into chaos. If you follow the forum rules, you will never be banned. Is it really that hard to just follow the rules? Or do you think the rules don't apply to you?
No one is making you post here. If you don't like the moderation here, you could find a different community.
