Title: iPhone tethering
Post by: Gkirbz on April 14, 2010, 01:17:02 AM
recently my brother got a tethering service for his iphone, it would be quite interesting putting together an app that would allow you to tether ones wii to the iPhone for online play in situations where regular internet is either slower or unavailable

i dont have alot of knowledge in this area but this is a project i would like to see happen and be involved with.

Ask your brother. Is that tethering service an app named MyWi and has your brother an jailbroken iPhone.
Or do you just live in a country where that,s available. ( Tethering on iPhone is not available in all country,s. Depends on the carrier)

Edit:
I've looked on the internet and i see. You must just have an iPhone that's jailbroken. The regular tethering, doesn't allow you to share a Wi-Fi connection.
If you don't know what this means (jailbreaking). Ask me.
