So, I was using Ocarina on SSBB (USA) and in the middle of Dedede's Final Smash everything just froze! I reset my Wii and went to the Homebrew channel and I got a screen telling me my Wii's system files are corrupted! I'm pretty sure it's just the Homebrew channel that's messed up, but I can't be sure (I'm not very tech savvy).
If it helps I'll tell you what codes I was using.

Do you get the error every time you turn the Wii on? The first time I got it I was scared for the life of me! (this was LONG before I installed the HBC and used Ocarina though) But, then I just unplugged the Wii and plugged (or just turned it off and turned if back on) it back in and everything was fine and dandy again. Try it, you might be surprised.

No, shut up WII_SOS, it's NOT on purpose. It's on the code user's end, it's our fault for not putting a warning in when using certain codes. Using Brawl codes CANNOT ruin your system files, it's the way he unplugged the Wii and plugged it back in, I had this happen to me BEFORE I had the HBC and Ocarina. It CAN corrupt your save data, this is true, but it's only with certain codes. And, it's not as many as you claim.

Also... I got that message once shortly after loading the HBC. It was quite the coincidence... but then again, I also had that occur after Mario Party 8 froze up randomly a long time ago.
As suggested, power down and restart the wii. Should be gone... if not, good luck. (I tend to keep EVERYTHING backed up now that I have the ability to. Thank you save game extractor!)

If you feel so strong about it to repeat is 6 times may be you shod stop you sing the codes and get a usbgecko and fined the codes for you're self.

Your Save file isn' t destroyed forever in the most cases, there are music fixer codes.
