EDIT: Oops sorry I meant to say USB Gecko Unkown Device Problem

I am using Windows XP SP2 and ever since about a month ago I have been getting an error whenever I plug the USBGecko into my laptop- It says Found new hardware, Unknown Device. I go to the Device Manager and find it in the Universal Serial Bus section, but it won't accept the drivers I give it! I am using an Acer Aspire 3680 laptop, and this used to work but suddenly stopped. I also have an External Hard Drive and a SNES controller plugged in to the other USB ports, but I have tried unplugging them and it doesn't help. Please, if you know a solution please help, I have tried everything, I even reinstalled the OS!
I heard something about you have to put the usb gecko in usb slot B when using a laptop. try that.
