It just crossed my mind! :p, why wasn't the usb gecko progam and the wiird gui a homebrew app? :p it just had came to my attention.

Putting those programs as homebrew apps,like a debug mode for wii. :D

it is homebrew.  any unsigned/ unlicensed code is homebrew.

Its all homebrew, and free to download and use. Only the hardware you would need to build but that is also free now under BSD license.

I think the reason the debugger and engine hasn't been moved to use the internal usb device is that it is just too complicated. It is layer upon layer of code and libs but all has to be put in a very tiny memory space as games take up X amount of unknown memory.
