Title: Possible to choose codes each time?
Post by: blueray on December 14, 2009, 02:32:50 AM
HI, i'M new here, and so happy i found this site! I already installed what's needed to have fun with older games with some codes. :)

I'd like to know something: it's great to export code lists to the SD card, but if i want to add or remove a code, or just "uncheck" a code, we need to recheck the code and reexport it.

Is there a way to do like the ancien Action replay, where you can choose which code you want to use for the moment you are playing? Of course, it's so great Gecko exist, but maybe i just don't know that homebrew channel, or Gecko function...?

Thank you very much for your future answers.... hope i just don't repeat a question already posted (looked before posting and found nothing).

I'm a newbie myself, but ;D there's a code manager which runs off the Wii. According to instructions, you put any number of text files from 1-255 with the others and supposedly can then use the HomeBrew channel to choose which ones. Go here (http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,597.0.html) for details. Personally, it wouldn't work on mine, but maybe I have an old HB or something . Good luck, and worst it'll do is crash with some code dump. But I'm with you as far as the ability to turn on and off codes goes!

This (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CheatManager) may be of use to you.
