Trying to load Tales of Graces (just released in Japan today) freezes and gives me a black screen, forcing me to unplug my Wii. I have the latest Gecko update and I think (unfortunately?) the latest firmware update too.
I didnt and I still have the same problem.
It downloaded something off of the disc... but from there the sceen went black.
All other tries get me this same screen.
I thought I was the only one who had this problem. I wonder if other Wiis had this same problem?
Japanese game on a not japanese Wii? Tried force japanese and force NTSC?
Yes, I finally managed to get it to work. Like what WiiPower said, you really do have to force japanese and NTSC.
Like you need to on half japanese games...
