OFFICAL INSTRUCTIONS


to use this code u must have a usb gecko and wiird of cource

well load a saved file

i like krauser and his special arm attack does work in this (dont know the technical name) anyway

Step 1. LOAD the damn game if u didnt read above : P
Step 2. after the game loads and u see leon activate ur code of the person u want
Step 3. hit the options button and hit retry from continue point
Step 4. Have fun playing as the person u choose

CAUTION!!!
DO not and i repeat DO NOT hit the maps button it crashees u from wat ive noticed so far have fun and hope u like the code
CHOSE UR WEPON BEFORE HAND OR U WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHOSE ANOTHER

MAKE SURE U SKIP ALL HANIGUAN SCEENS
IF U R ASHLEY GANADOS CANT GRAB U AND THEY ARE THROWN THROUGH THE AREA WITH THE PSYICIC THING lol

u cant load the game when u have this code on u cant load into a new game u cant open maps or invatory when the code is on after u folow my instructions doing any of this will result in a crash make sure to skip all sceens or it will result in crash that y i said USB gecko holders only code wont work and crash if u dont folow instructions ive only tested krauser and all i said crash the game try testing wesker or ada and give feedback plzz

Are you saying you need to turn the code off again before hitting retry from continue point or it'll freeze? or that it doesn't freeze with a USB gecko but all the other menus do?

You know you might just need some kind of sanity check to make sure the code doesn't mess with other important information when the address is being used for something else

Ive tested this on my own wii for a while it dont screw up the Wii the graphics changes thats about it along with scenes Hannigan scenes will freze along with other  listen  AFTER u load the game u ACTIVATE THE CODE then u hit retry the code cant be turned off i think and i tried a button activator but it dont work anyway just try to play as u can cause i think this codes gonna always be a crasher

I found out that 80337F39 is the player characters outfit 80337F3A is the companion character & 80337F3B is the companion characters outfit

The outfit values don't crash the game when you go to the map screen

Since the value is of the type that will just change itself back unless you hold the buttons down you have to use a switch

k button activator works for those without usb gecko but u still have to folow the instructions as well and the thing still crashes aka at invatory screen or map screen ECT

It doesn't crash after the character is switched

At least the map screen doesn't I didn't test anything else

k ill start off by testing load up new game and start it from there see how i can make it load right and not only that when u have to man difrent wepons in ur invatory it crashes before it even loads wat u got on hunk ada wesker and ashley?

k so does it freeze up on ada? im gonna try the charecter mod in seperate ways that = crash on load up if u got a file were its somewere half way in the game can u test and give results?

LMAO I FOUND A FUNNY ASS GLITCH when using the Mine Thrower as kraser u shoot a egg icon comes out as u reload a bullet

Ada crashes when you go to map or inventory screen and her model can't hold the riot gun correctly her hand is detached from her wrist

i think this project might end in a bust in less we can get some other good hackers to help us in this code btw when krauser fires the mine thrower it looks like a grenade / leach thing  equippeding another wepon and then hitting retry to get the code active it glitches the ammo we got lots of work to do to get this working correctly

hunk freezes the game before he even loads

I think equipping freezes because the game tries to load a model of the character holding the new weapon and it can't find it

maybe theirs a way to direct it to the mercenaries data

hmmm there would probly be some data that needs  switched from a sd card but for this to work we would need some major help from some good hackers maybe we could get hetoans help on this matter or someone around his level of hacking

You could try a simple ASM code, do you know how to make ASM codes?

Just an ASM routine that'll tell the game to go ahead and load leon's model when on the inventory screen

we could find the value of the currently equipped weapon and set a write breakpoint and check out the disassembler to find out what the ASM is doing and then do the same thing with a swapped character and see why it isin't working

You could make an ASM code that replaces the instruction that loads the value from that address (which is most likely lwz rD, d(rA)) and replace it with li rD, x
That way you are sure that the game uses the address for more things.

But I'm not sure if it's understandable for someone who has zero experience with asm and programming.

ok i understand ur tutorial very nice by the way thing is i think u just solved my problems to make this code work i could make the code write the inventory data of the models and inventory from mercenaries mode to story mode id just need a little help im gonna check out some things gonna test a theory and hope it works all i need is to instant right the inventory  from mercenaries and have it write right into the charcter for story mode it might change the wepons but thats cool i rly like using the bow as krauser and plus u could buy more from merchants and it would probly work right romaap read all this and tell me if u think it will work thx : P and im good at understanding complex things



just one problem may i ask how to find the address for the invatory screen o-o

theres also the slight chance that the value for the invatory goes in the 0 1 format  0 meaning its not up 1 meaning it is up some things go in that order from wat ive experinced in some things

nvm i remember we need to write li for krausers menu to come up instead of leons menu and let the li load the krausers menu and things and then it shouldnt freze and fix the problem for krauser but then i would have to follow wat u did if u can tell me then i can create the rest for ada hunk and them
