Title: Wiird won't start right...
Post by: pantherspwn on December 05, 2009, 06:39:08 AM
Hey guys, I'm running into a problem.  It has never happened until now. (it may have always been a problem, i may have just noticed it now) But when I try to run either COD WAW or COD MWR my gecko will not connect correctly.

Connection resetted!
> gamestatus
Sending command
Error sending command
Resetting USB Gecko device driver!
Connection resetted!
> gamestatus
Sending command

It will do this over and over.  No idea what could be causing this because other games work fine, so it shouldnt be an error with the driver.  Just for the info, I am running system menu 4.2 and i have tryed every gecko os from 1.9.2 to 1.9.3
Thanks for your help!

The messages basically mean that it does not get replies by the running game. If the game is running.. then this normally means that the game was able to drop the USB Gecko connection. Easiest would be to try another hook type!

You are talking about the GC version of Gecko OS aren't you? For the Wii version, it cannot hook to GC games.. otherwise I am afraid I can't help the GC version of Gecko OS was never open source I do not have it :(
