Codes? Anything. :D Please! Wondering why this isn't being worshiped like NSMBs. It's awesome!

Seeing as I've still been too bloody lazy to get my 'Hacker' status:

9999999 Gold

047338A4 0098967F

That's all I'm gonna poke for now. Seeya.

*edit*

Might have to change the value hex for gold because the game keeps track of 'all' the gold you've collected, so when you spend the gold, it decreases your overall count, and your total in the memory doesn't stay at 9999999. Kinda weird really, but I'm fairly certain that's more than enough gold for you to upgrade your weapons with. If not... change the value to 5F5E0FF.

Oh yeah.

The game when in 1P mode, doesn't seem to detect the Infinite Health for partner whenever the partner character gets attacked by a zombie.

Thank You!
I was doing good in the game without codes, but this makes it waaaay better.
My thanks to everyone who has contributed a code or more so far.

I would like to ask 2 things though.

What does rapid fire do since I didn't seem to notice any change?

And also, is anyone going to put out an infinite Amma code, because I mean, c'mon here......DUH.

Many thanks again for what we DO have so far.

Both the 'no reload' and 'have all weapons' codes give infinite ammo. The 'rapid fire' code removes the delay between shots.

LOL! Dang I was wondering about that.
But thanks for the fast reply, TNTkryzt!

Ok, I notice the rapid fire now, but do you have to use the "all weapons" and " no reload" together, because I have just the "no reload" going, and I can assure you my bullets are running out rather rapidly.

Ah you're right, I just realised I still had the 'all weapons' code loaded through SD cheats. I'll whip up a quick one.
Title: Re: Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Post by: darkpsiknight on November 21, 2009, 04:32:26 AM
Oh the code is active alright.  I don't have to ever reload a clip until I'm down to my last bullet.  It's like the code in Umbrella Chronicles where you don't have to shake anything to reload, but there still had to be an infinte ammo code to not lose any bullets.

Yup, I was just posting as you did.  Ha! ;D

Thanks for taking the time to whip up a new ammo code.  I'll hang out for awhile until you are finished, and than test it for you.

Excellant work!
If I run into any other issues with it, I'll drop a line here.

For some reason none of these codes are working. I set whatever to YES in USB Loader GX's Ocarina menu, it creates the cheat file, but then when I open the menu again everything's reset to NO. Started the game at different points and still nothing.

This has never happened before, but usually I just download the cheat files directly from the menu... What could I be doing wrong? I copy-pasted the cheats from the other thread and saved them as "SBDE08.txt" in txtcodes. My Wii's a 3.2U softmod

Go and get yourself the Retail version of the game.  No one here is going to help you out with a backed up copy and/or with a program that's not associated with Gecko.

Ah my bad, obviously I'm new here. For what it's worth I plan on buying the game if I enjoy it  8) Anyway I figured it out, it's not a problem with the cheats themselves. They work perfect, thanks!

Here's something rather funky I noticed. If you set your language settings on the GeckOS to Japanese instead of English game will run on the Japanese 'data' or something. Normally I booted the game via the Wii through the Wiird controller/USB gecko so I was sure that I could use the codes, but right now since my primary computer is down, I made a .gct file for the SD.

The game now runs through the Japanese settings... IN Japanese, so instead of Resident Evil, it says BIOHAZARD and all the text has now been translated back to Japanese, and the SD codes actually don't work. I'm gonna change my language back to English and see if that changes anything.

*edit*

And... success. The game now thinks it's the NTSC-U version instead of the NTSC-J version.

How random.

I have a problem, my Wii is PAL, and when I start the game i get a black screen.
I have tried changing the video mode, the language, etc, but nothing works.

I'm not sure which code it is, but one of them interferes with the fight against Alfred Ashford...

*edit*

Although turning them off for just that part seems to work fine.

Another thing: The game data Saves the No-reload code, so even with cheats off, the guns don't need to be reloaded. Weird huh?

Are you using a retail game or a backup because you're not going to get any help if it's a backup!

That would be the Infinite Health code.  The same thing happens with The Umbrella Chronicles as well at a certain part of the game.

You are so awesome TNTkryzt!
I tried the Ammo code the next day, and than it not only worked to perfection, but there's an extra bonus for me now.
I have Infinite Gold to boot!

I don't know how you did it, but the code gives me unlimited Gold AND Ammo at the same time.  :o
I still have to collect it myself to get my stash high enough to buy more expensive upgrades, but once I buy something, my Gold stays at the same amount every time.

My friends and I thank you very much dude! ;D  ;D

Oh I didn't notice that, you could modify the gold multiplier code to speed up your stash gains;

Gold Multiplier x100

It's the Inf. Health Partner code that locks up the game at that part. You don't really need the code just use Inf. Herbs to heal your partner.

I just realized that the Japanese version of this game isn't out yet. Hahaha. They've seemed to have loaded the Japanese data though on the US version's disk.

I have a problem, my Wii is PAL, and when I start the game i get a black screen.
I have tried changing the video mode, the language, etc, but nothing works.

I have the same problem with the USA version of this game.  I own it legit.  I have the Language option in Gecko set to Default and I have it set to Force NTSC/USA.  The weird thing is that the game goes to the black screen both via Gecko 1.9.3.1 and when done through Wii Menu.  If I do it via the Wii main menu screen, I can view the pre-launch animation of the game (when you select the disc start channel on the Wii main menu, but the game goes completely black after that.  Also, the Wii remote shuts off completely and no matter what buttons I press, it doesn't turn on again (just flashes all the blue lights on it and then turns off).  Only the power button on the Wii system works.  Also, ejecting the disc works, but it stays on the black screen even after the disc is ejected.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?  The weird thing is that I played the game when it first came out and did the 1st level, but now, it doesn't work anymore.  I haven't played the game since @ launch week.  I noticed that the back of the case says that it may not work if your Wii has been modified, could that be the problem?  Any info on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Update:

Nevermind, I got it to work now.  I had to update my IOSes.

The infinite health code will cause the game to glitch up.
