Title: Wii update makes it impossible to play Harvest moon
Post by: Unicorpse on November 13, 2009, 10:04:54 PM
I know I'm being a big leecher, but find it somewhere in your heart to help me with this.

Harvest moon Animal Parade requires the new wii update.  It will not run without updating your wii.  From the announcement I saw that if you update it that all of your homebrew gets deleted, which I definitely don't want.  I haven't checked exactly which update it is because I am afraid to go near the game channel as long as that "wii system update" button is there, but because this game came out today (or Wednesday for some people) I am assuming it is the newest update.  Is there still no way to bypass it?

Thanks.

I didn't mention this, but I DID boot it in Gecko OS and it gave me a blue error screen. So that doesn't work.

try this (http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3228.msg38835.html#msg38835) version of Gecko to load the game, it fixed the blue error screen for some other games.

Thanks that worked.  I had version 1.7.
