Title: How to use Ocarina codes on Wii channels?

I have codes, but I don't know how to add the channels to Gecko OS. How do I do this? ???

You'll need the newest Gecko OS and Code Manager.

I know how to add codes. I asked how to add the channels to Gecko OS.

That wasn't what I meant.
The channels should already be there, just select load channel, you don't need to add anything.
That's why I thought you might need a newer Gecko OS version

Oh, I get what you mean. I read that I had to downgrade, but I don't want to. Do you have to downgrade (my version is 4.0U)? I don't want to, but I will if I can still play games off of an SD card...

Yeah, that would be the problem.
You can fix it and still be on 4.0,

You can skip the last step of actually downgrading, everything will work fine.
