Title: Need help with Gecko OS
Post by: UltraPlasma on July 22, 2009, 04:10:23 PM
Whenever I try to load game with Gecko OS, it just tells me that I have an SD error. Ocarina also won't read my SD card. I'm using a regular 8gig SD not SDHD and I'm in the PAL format which means I'm using PAL codes.

What am I doing wrong?

I have emulators on the same SD so do they have anything to do with this?

Please get Gecko 1.9.1 and not Gecko OS 1.07 or Ocarina (completely outdated).. Gecko is the new: http://home.comcast.net/~brkirch/Gecko191.zip (http://home.comcast.net/~brkirch/Gecko191.zip)

While your SD may be 8 GB and non-SDHC Gecko still requires SDHC libraries to manage file systems exceeding 4 GB (32 bit issue).. Gecko 1.9.1 should do!

try to put it into the folder data\gecko\codes - instead of codes.. other than that, I'd be puzzled I use an 8 GB SDHC

It flashes "Reading DVD stats" just before it tells me about its SD error.

Do I need to modify my SD card?
