Title: questions about Gecko OS
Post by: wiinobi on July 20, 2009, 06:14:34 PM
i know Gecko OS allows u to unlock and play games from another regions like Japanese NTSC/J games, the question i have is:

-Gecko OS detects language from another regions? i mean japanese language characters in game?

check this video on YouTube, someone using Gecko OS to play japanese game on US Wii,cool.....but if u notice on the video, the japanese language r not showing correctly, insted of they r showing some weird symbols and characters:!"$%&/()=? that makes the game impossible to play if u want to follow the story, and even worse if u want to play japanese RPGs its vital that japanese language shows correctly in game.

here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4GeUsA-mjY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4GeUsA-mjY)

i dont know if there is a way to fix this bug?? or maybe the guy just configured wrong the Gecko OS? any help will b very appreciated, thanks.
