Title: Screenshot Feature and some stuff
Post by: _Vuze_ on July 19, 2009, 03:14:38 PM
Hi guys,
I have been googling for a while now, and I read WiiRD can take screenshots from my Wii.
I'm just wondering, how is the quality?
Better than when I capture it over my EasyCAP (transfers Wii TV signal to PC) and then take a screen? Or even 1:1 like when using a screenshot plugin on PSP?
Will it freeze the game for a second? Please post examples :)
Another thing, what can WiiRD do else except of screenshot and code searching?
Thank you for replying!
Best regards,
Vuze

Oh they look really nice :)
Thank you guys for posting? MH3 demo anyone?
Let's see, 25â,¬ + shipping is okay for a USBGecko...

As for other things WiiRD/USB Gecko in general can do...that's pretty much everything WiiRD does, but USB Gecko itself has
several more functions, like helping alot with developing homebrew apps yourself, or dumping a disc's data...

the USBgecko's screenshot should be 1:1 because it takes the raw data that is going to be displayed from RAM iirc.
