Title: I quit
Post by: ssbbdude on July 05, 2009, 05:37:03 PM
I'm going to to quit hacking.

My USBGecko MIGHT be for sale so someone might get use out of it.

I quit hacking for the fact that I dont do it anymore and I just have been busy with other things and I also quit coming here. I will come back if I decide to sell my USBGecko, and if I do i'll post it here.

The time I spent here and at the mIRC was great but now is my time to say Goodbye ;)

well that sucks.

if you're not gonna be here to see this I'll just go ahead and hit the thank you button for comic relief...

you should still stay for the community...

hopefully I'll see you on the irc more/still.

You know, being busy isn't a reason to outright quit...  Sometimes you have to sort your priorities but that doesn't mean you have to abandon something else entirely.  Just because you don't have time to do something now doesn't mean that you'll never want to do it again.  I've been unable to buy new games lately and have been limited in the time I have to play and hack them, but I'll be picking it back up eventually.  I've been laid off, am looking for a job, will be moving, and returning to school.  Busy times, but I would never say "I'll never hack again" because I know sooner or later I'll find a code that I want to make for a game that I'm playing.

So just think over the difference between permanently quitting something and taking a step back when you have to but leaving the option to return later open.

people who quit generally say it for attention purposes, they want recognition

it's a standard human trait

As Aesteval said though, busy isn't a reason to quit. I work full time and have a house to manage/run etc. You just spend less time doing code stuff.
