i think you should request codes that aren't already for the Japanese version of the game. like 2x exp for moves.
other codes like max hp and sp can be converted.

I don't mind about HP /MP codes, this game is not that hard :rolleyes: , now i'm at the last island and i never did a single game over :)
But another good code could be " always have break rush "
that would make taking items from enemies much more easier ;D
Last year for One Piece Unlimited adventure i requested a character sawp code ( and now i request it for unlimited cruise episode 1 / 2 too )
like for Brawl where you can use the red/blue/yellow etc alloys, characters that you can't use normally, and i said it would be cool if you were able to use the bosses on story mode, like " swap luffy with: ener or aokiji etc "
I think it's not impossible, after all you can use the bosses in VS mode and Survival mode.. so why not a little code to bring them on story mode too? :cool:
Maybe it would freeze if you try to use an item while playing as a boss.... but that's it.
the game needs to be hacked more for those codes to come out.. codes for super smash bros. brawl and kingdom hearts II where huge requests. so for those games there will be hacked alot. but for one piece you need to have patience.

Hell, right now I'm farming Extra Large Sea Kings, Frozen Meat, and Mammoth Toads for the HP/SP giant dishes. Granted, it isn't that bad, but bleh. I already have 8/9 Straw Hat memebers' HP maxed out. SP is still under 500 for all of them.

I remember reading about offsets and all that jazz in a guide at AR Central. Problem is, I can't be bothered to waste time experimenting lol. As of right now I'm working on changing the music in the game by hacking the brstm files like how people did for Brawl, but that's another story.
Besides, I already wasted time farming Sea King dishes in this game to get all the members' HP to 1000! Don't wanna struggle through again working towards SP!

I've made some cheats for Unlimited Adventure (US). Everyone got 2000 HP and SP and I've got all items, but the cheat corrupted the game, so my bags are always full. I could make some for Unlimited Cruise, but maybe I would corrupt your savegames as well :P
Thing is the saves that are highly useful are already made for the JP version. Its just that they haven't been converted to the PAL version yet.

This game could have been hacked sooner, but not every single hacker has the game.

I already did some codes for NDS Action Replay and I will be very interested in creating some code for Wii games expecially for PAL version of One Piece and Dragon Quest Swords.
I have only a question: to make codes for NDS it was sufficient to have an emulator to search in the allocated memory of games, but, how can I do it for Wii? It is necessary the USB Gecko to be able to access to the Wii memory or can I connect my Wii to PC via USB cable? To tell you the truth buying the USB Gecko is impossible for me right now !!!

As for connecting the Wii to the computer using a USB cable, I doubt it. As far as I know, the USB Gecko is programmed to be run through Gecko. I dont think that they can connect through USB to USB.

the codes from oneup doesn´t work it drains all your SP and you can´t refill it and the other code it down´t explain how it work
Sorry about the confusion. The first code is applied with a button activator. Any item that you put in the first four slots when 2 is pressed, you will now have 99 of that item. As for the SP code, it may be something that has to be activated after the loading a save or something. It works fine with USBGecko. I'll try changing it to work without one.

Yes, those are the slots. Press 2 and you should get 99 of whatever items are in any of those slots. I tried it through ocarina, and it worked. If it doesn't work for you, then:

The original was with a trigger button - 2. That code there is just without the trigger button, so it will always be 99 which could cause some problems.

Ok for his SP code it does work but it needs a trigger since it has to be activated after you load the save data.

Hm...I don't know why the item code isn't working for you. Other than possible loader issues. I'm using Gecko 1.9.0.1 to hack the codes and it worked fine booting the sd codes through there as well. Also: hooktype is default.
Undeniable-that's assembly code, which I'm just learning some of it. I've been trying to make a moonjump code, but something is awry with the assembly code I'm messing with and it won't convert it to WiiRD. I might be able to do the level up code though by finding the values and plugging them into his assembly code.
Im using the latest Gecko OS also and default hook type. Items still don't change.

The one a page back is without pressing 2, and the one under code releases is with pressing 2. Both work for me, but not sure why they don't work for anyone else so far.

OK, to clarify on how the item code works:
1. Put an item in any of 1st 4 slots in inventory.
2. Press 2
3. Refresh the inventory (move item or leave inventory)
4. You should have 99 of those items in those 4 slots.

The difference in languages can be the problem, some games have a different memory layout for every language.

I've got no upgrades...that could change things. I haven't played it much so far just to the second island with minimalistic collecting. Maybe I could have a look at your save file or you could try a new file and see if it works?
i only have the 1st bad upgrade..maybe that is why it wont work.

You can use Gecko to boot up in a different language. But I haven't gotten it to work. I also tried doing it in Spanish on a new/old save file.

At the time of hacking the Spanish/French codes, I was Zoro on the Thousand Sunny. And they seem to work for any item, even crystals which "require" more than one item space.
Could one of you send me your save file or something? I honestly don't know why it's not working...

Undeniable, I had been loading it with debugger on - this allows me to launch WiiRD at any time not just beginning, but I just tried it with only SD Cheats on and it still works :-\
I know we've been asking a lot, but could you try it without the USB Gecko inserted if possible?

I tried with my USBGecko out, still works. The gct file is under sd:/codes/ROUPAF.gct I created the .gct with the first Code Manager (bundled with ocarina) if that matters, and I used all of the codes at once.

I would like to say that the most of the players have not experiencing in hacking game so they can't do it by themselves. I think that if you find a code for a version it is not too long to provides code for others language. You have also to remember that if you did something like found cheats you did because you like it and to make a service to all the people that wiil use your code and stay sure that they will appreciate your work a lot (like me).

Yes, after getting the original the other languages are easy. Seeing as how no one can get them to work, I might try finding a different code first because it's not very likely that German/Italian will work any better than the rest.
do you need to do the 99 item slot code individually? or can you use it together with the sp code??
if you must use it alone without any other code then amma try that out. but otherwise it doenst work for me to. and i waiting for it to come in the database so i can choose the codes on my wii instead of doing it on my pc.

Kain if you want to take a look, the codes are in the 90 range. If you don't know how to find codes, look at Foxx's video tutorial or Dexter0's written one. Look for both in the sticky in the collective.

I used 8 bit, and I also just found some similar values in the D0 range but then the game crashed... You'll probably end up with two codes-one for the slot and one for the actual item. I think 907E.... was the slot .

after going back to the title screen and load the same save game the codes don´t work anymore. I´ve looked at the address of the 1st item slot and the value doesn´t show the item amount.
Yeah the slots seem to move a bit after a upgrade. notice the only changes there are the 2 next to last digits. Starting at 68 vs 72. Maybe I should see if there is a pointer involved here, but the codes have worked fine for me on both types.
Now I'm interested in seeing what the code will be for those (like me) with both upgrades for Slots/Bags each.
So now are the codes exactly the same as of the bag/slot 1 upgrades, but I play on the bag/slot 0 upgrades save.
And the bag/slot 1 has now the addresses of the bag/slot 0.

it doesn´t matter if you have a bag upgrade or not. sometimes works the first code, sometimes the other.

The little robots in Island 1. On Normal mode they hardly spawn in the basic locations. You'll find them on the side paths, especially near the optional boss fight.

To everyone having trouble with these ram write item codes, go check the other topic. I updated it with an assembly based item code that allows you to cancel the subtraction of items, turn it back on, and change it to addition.
Edit: So far it seems to be region free.

It works only if you press 1 & 2 buttons the same time. Also, after playing a while I get a new item but it says that my inventory is full, and I have 9 empty slots. If you save your game that "effect" will stay forever.

Try to fill all your slot with item from the deposit and then move all away in the deposit itself; this worked for me. The trick is to not multiply items if there are void slot between 1st and 4th.

the item modifer works. but what about inf items?? i havend test it yet but i think if you need 30 of the same item but you only have 5 that if you want to develop somthing it does not work because it says you have 5 but you have the code on.
or if you have your code on evrything goes to 99?
I'm not very far in the game but if there are tasks that require a specific amount of an item then there'll most likely be another check somewhere, I'll look into when I encounter such a task.

In my attempts to create an assembly HP code, I ended up with something quite interesting:

This code makes enemies have low health best I can figure. Unfortunately it also makes you unable to heal yourself, so it is good and bad. I'm not posting this in code release unless I can remove the bad, but it's something fun to play with I guess.
so i just tried that unlock all characters for vs mode code above. it works but it doesnt save meaning you would have to load that code each time you want to do vs mode. still, good code and thanks for it.
Yeah I'll have to trace it back to find the real flags. Updated the inf items codes as it wrote to all unoccupied storage slots.
i see you added the have infinite hp and sp code. does it work correctly??
and for the have all development items, i think i need a little more explanation. (if you have all the development items the sp.moves of the characters must be also unlocked)
..no I've had to edit the hp code again as the character check was unreliable. The "development" and "mission" item codes basically bypass the "have correct item" check, it'll only function during that event.
well because this game was not released in the NTSC region. there arent any guides for it. so i dont know what you need to make a super vacuum cleaner. for example you need clay and a special fish. the "IDEA!!" is not triggered if you only have the clay. you need to have that special fish i order tho trigger that "IDEA!!" thing.
i cant get any further now. (i need that vacuum cleaner:P)
Well I haven't got that far yet, I've only played as far as reaching Sunny but I'm sure the dev code should work if not I'll have a look when I get there. Have you tried gamefaqs, they have a basic walkthru.
You have to be on Sunny to use the developement fuction and so far the dev code has worked on all tasks.
The part needed for the Vacuum upgrade is on island 3 there is some point where you must build a ladder and then you must go left and then right into the cave until you reach an chest.
Hi TNTkryzt, did you notice that your Infinite HP+SP code heals also the boss HP gauge so that win the battle is impossible? :P
Another thing, the SP code got infinite SP if you don't use special attach: if a special attach is performed the yellow bar will be consumed and you cannot fill it anymore !!! Take a look at it.
Are you using the latest inf hp+sp code from the main code thread (http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3810.new.html#new) because I've used it against the first 2 bosses and it worked fine. As for the sp yellow bar, I'll look into that tomorrow.

wel im bugged. i got the mystery upgrade and nothing happed. so im stuck now forever..... and sometimes i got 2 super vacuum cleaners.(from the item modifier) but one freezez and you get an annoying peep and the other works but you cannot suck up that poison stuff before the boss. so i cannot go any further in this game DAMMIT

Another thing: the longer break rush for me doesn't work !!! It has the opposite effect that's to say that the break rush last only one strike !!!

The language may be the cause or something changes down the line, which boss (number if possible) did you notice the problem at?
I can't make an infinite break rush code as it needs to reset after the battle, best to just use the attain break rush quickly code.
I've edited the hp+sp code so it should refill after using a special move, also had to edit the inf items code as the hp+sp code ran into it's space, so don't use the old inf items code with the new hp code.

you can change game language by simply chancge wii language or by forcing a language from Gecko.

To use the compiled cheats with the channel that use the Ocarina cheat system instead than the Gecko one you need to place the gct files in the "Codes" folder placed in the root of your SD card.
About the Item Modifier, it won't work at the Sunny Go... i where just wondering why it didn't work after i tried it on the land it worked perfectly!
But at what language are oyu running the game?
I put the GTC codes on the folder "codes" in the root of the SD card, the game i have it on spanish, since i talk spanish ^.^¡ they dosen't work in this language?
