figured that but It could be a fake wad, or real but with bad banner, or MANY other bad things.  Now that bootmii is out not much of a problem, but I don't like wads (witch is why I reported you, and the fact that thay are illigal)

I don't know if any codes have been made for this game yet. I have some hacking still to do with Adventure Island. Depending how much free time I get tonight I might give this game a try tonight. Otherwise I'll try to make some codes tomorrow.

i try possible memory range search... NO luck! Anyway can get me a hand? I tried dec, hex, and over float at memory range 80 and 90. Nothing come up! I try with different bit codes and also not working... If I poke, the WiiRD program would freeze as well...

Yep poking the value I found froze the game for me as well. I tried some breakpoints but they didn't seem to do anything but the game no longer froze. However with the breakpoints on, changing the value found to begin with does nothing as well. This seems like a dificult game to cheat on, maybe the value found needs to be moved to a different address but that's way too advanced for me at this moment.

I'll try playing some more with breakpoints and probably pointers later on.

I just can't find anything for this game. Well I find values but I poke them and nothing happens. I hope that someone with experience gives this a try. I would love to see a tutorial on finding values on this game actually. Because there are lots of items and is either you have them or you don't.

I give up on this game. Maybe it needs a different hook? I have narrowed down results to 1 or just a couple but nothing really happens.

If anything I might be able to find a code that alters the number collected items but no one that actually gives you the power up. I watched the values in memory viewer and the values change when you get another item of the same. It goes higher. But freezing the value does nothing. Is like if you just don't have the power up.

It's weird because I can find values easy to have the power ups for Bomberman games in emulators. Is either you have the power up or you don't

Hooking the game isn't the problem, actually finding values and changing what happens is

There are plenty of tutorials on how to use the USB gecko.

Keep in mind, when you are trying to find addresses for a specific value location, you have to think more like how the game functions and less what you see on the screen. Just because a number says 5 doesn't mean the game is reading that as the value 5 (A perfect example of this would be the lives on Super Mario World).

Another example in the original Mario games is the timer. In the original mario games, the time on the screen is usually like 400. The game programmers stored each digit in the timer as its own address rather than the whole thing. So searching for 400, as an example, would come up with inconclusive results. While searching for 4 would come up with the hex address for the hundreds digit.

Good luck ^_^

It's a bit of an oddball as I have found things that are clearly linked to what's happening in game but editing them changes nothing

This one is a weird one. Break points don't do anything, poking doesn't do anything??

I think it needs a hook other than the default one perhaps. I'm not sure. I'm a newbie to this; but I have found values. I just can't get any codes working.

Would be handy if that person came forward and explained what they did or there method so other codes could be used

EDIT - just trying again found the timer in SP mode

For some odd reason you need Hacker Status (http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,2984.0.html) to post in the codes sections.

try this if you're trying to hack the PowerUps
set Memory Search Range to 805B0000 to 80600000

you begin with 1 bomb, 1 firepower, so search 32 bits for 00000001
get another bomb or firepower then serach for 00000002, repeat if necessary

the good is, the address is so easy to find, the BAD is the address changes on every single round..even Pointers or Pointer in Pointer might not make it work on every round..So, someone with ASM knowledge might be able to help on this

STOP time address is at 804CBFB0
so 040CBFB0 60000000 = Inf Time

update: It's for the NTSC version
