Title: [N64] The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask [NARP]
Post by: TwilightErik on May 08, 2009, 08:55:29 PM
I converted codes from the japanese codes that are up and made by ukuneko,shark2003 for PAL codes some sites from n64 version.

There untested but should work please tell me if they don't work so I can remove them.

I'd Like to Thank:
ukuneko - for the japanese codes
shark2003 - for the PAL codes
and other hackers that hacked the N64 Version

Enjoy if they do work!

Edit:

Codes do work on.
The Original PAL Version & NTSC Injection tested on both works!

Added:
Have Gilded Sword
All Equipment Upgrades Including Gilded Sword

Fixed Codes and they do work :)

shark2003's codes that need button activation doesn't work for me. I guess those codes were made for the Classic Controller, am I right? Sadly, I can only play this game via GameCube controller... It seems that I have to hope and wait for someone who takes some time to convert those codes for GCN controller users. ;)

But all other codes work very fine for me. Great job! :D

None of hese codes are working for me. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I use codemgr and put the codes on and save it as "NARP.gct". When I load the channel with Gecko OS it says applying codes, but when I start playing the codes don't take effect.

You're right! None of these codes by TwilightErik and shark2003 are working using Ocarina or Gecko OS. However they seem to work fine using USB Gecko and the WiiRD...

To get these codes working in GeckoOS/Ocarina there is maybe some sort of activation code needed or so... But I have no idea - it's just a guess from a n00b. ;)

I guess the codes are in the 81000000+ area and you need to do something else with the codes

Try this code and see if it works

Max Hearts & Infinite Health
4A000000 81000000
041119E4 14000140
E0000000 80008000

ok, I personally tested these and should work on GeckoOs by removing the E0000000 80008000 line from all the codes, althought I have no idea if that's the correct value for Inf Health

Hmmmm, these codes aren't working for me either. ;_; But they did work for you? That's weird. I wonder what I'm doing wrong, because I made gct files for other VC games and they work perfectly. ?_?

Make sure that you're using the Pal version with game id NARP
Carefully, look at the Gecko Channel loading screen and that the gameid is NARP, not NARE

Yep, it's NARP. I bought the game from the european Wii Shop Channel. So what else could be the reason that the codes aren't working for me and MRDSBOY? Do I have to choose a specific Hook type in Gecko? Or are any other configurations required to get the codes working?
As I already mentioned above all other codes for the VC/WiiWare games I own are working. "Majora's Mask" is the only VC game I have where its codes aren't working. ;_;

I have no idea then.....but, here's what my txt file looks like

NARP

Max Hearts & Infinite Health
051119E4 014000140

Infinite Ruppes
031119EA 000003E7

Infinite Magic
011119E9 00000060

open it with codemanager, delete NARP from the game name and enter NARP for the GameID
click on Export, browse to your SD card:\codes folder and type NARP then click Save
load up the game and see if it works

Seriously? No one has made this code yet? What the hell?! I know a lot of people want it. And it cant be that hard! All you would have to do is turn off the restriction of which character gets which item.

Hey guys!

I was wondering since there is a huge amount of NARJ (Majora's Mask Japan) codes but only a few PAL Region codes; if anyone could start porting some of these awesome codes. In particular, I am looking at Moon Jump:

Moon jump (Press A+Z) [ukuneko]
28F20170 00000110
033221E8 000040CB
E0000000 80008100

Also, I'd really love the Instant Day Change code:

Instant day change [ukuneko]
C2B33B24 00000011
3F8080F2 A2BC0170
61573FC0 2C150061
4082000C 3A600000
4800005C 2C150068
4082000C 3A600001
4800004C 2C150062
4082000C 3A600002
4800003C 2C150064
4082000C 3A600004
4800002C 6157BFC0
615A4000 2C150102
40820024 7C19D000
4180001C 615AC000
7C19D000 41810010
48000008 9A67001B
7EF9BB78 B327000C
60000000 00000000

If anybody could port these codes, as well as any others found at http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3339.0.html (http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3339.0.html) - I'd be very appreciative. Thanks heaps in advance. :D

it worked for me, so you must have done something wrong yourself. you might be using an inject or maybe you have the JAP or US version, what happened when you loaded the channel with cheats?

can a hacker or mod put these codes in the database or on the proper thread

porting is not the same as making

Quoteit worked for me, so you must have done something wrong yourself. you might be using an inject or maybe you have the JAP or US version, what happened when you loaded the channel with cheats?

can a hacker or mod put these codes in the database or on the proper thread

Umm well the game loaded and every other cheat worked so its still not working

The odd thing about this code ( I didn't post on Code Database) is when you hit a bush ALL the bushes start to float to the sky. Need to work on it some more

but if you wanted infinite i would suppose it would look like this:
0110926A 000001F4
or
0110926A 0000FFFF

It's not working for me either. All my other codes for this game work but this one(and maybe the other ones you put I didnt test them yet).

The codes here work for me.
http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3344.0.html

I'm using an inject of the pal version but when I put in those codes they worked.

this is the NTSC-U and NTSC-J versions of it btw

US
05110668 00000000

JAP
051158CC 00000000

edit:Tried your fairy sword on b-button and link is feirce deity code and they didnt work for me either.

I got the wad from this youtube vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqUQrsCqu9I

(I was tired of it on my n64 cause the graphics were bad and when i downloaded a wad it didn't work and this injected one I found, did)

Well I have an injected wad, maybe that's why. These work for me though and the other ones don't.

Thats why can whoever made these codes port the "any item can be used anywhere" code?

lol if he's stupid you must be retarded.
Its a video of him playing the injected game and the youtube may have reduced the audio quality of the video. I didnt notice anything wrong with the sound in the game other than when your going to a different area it sometimes glitches for a half second. I didnt notice it until I watched more of the video. The audio is perfect except for that.

Now can someone please make a "use any item anywhere" code for this wad? I dont want to start over my game to get the code :( .

Anyways can someone make a "use any item anywhere" code for this version. I'm am stuck with this version. Whenever I get a "Majora's Mask NTSC-U" its actually this pal wad. Every website has the pal one when it should be NTSC-U(except wiiso, which has a broken NTSC-U wad-which is still probably just a broken pal wad). The actually NTSC-U wad doesnt even exist so I dont even know how codes were made for it.

I have gotten alot better at wii hacking so as for the any item code:

051158C8 00000000
E0000000 80008000

You dont need the : E0000000 80008000
because it can restrict the outcome of the code but it makes it more stable!

Enjoy!

I already tried ALL codes which are existing for PAL, but none works. Only Jesus Mode is working but I honestly want to use other codes as well.
Game downloaded from WiiShop Channel by the way.

By the way, what's the difference between Version 1 and 2? I'd really appreciate a working Infinite Rupees and Bombchu's code, if possible... :(

Ok, it has been almost two years since the last reply, but I think the time has come for some clarification. This thread is a total mess because of one thing: the codes posted by TwilightErik DO NOT work with the official NARP release. They're just plain wrong. Although they do work if you are a pirate (LOL), that means if you are using the incredibly common version of NARP that has been injected with a NTSC ROM.

So this code:
QuoteAny Item can be used anywhere
0510D148 00000000

WILL work for you if you have the official NARP release! It is a bit buggy, but it does its job. So it should be in the code database, but no admin had put it there yet. Under version 1, that's the official release. So again: If you are having problems with the codes by TwilightErik (sharkbit codes on the database) use the ones from Rizard, and the ones of GMO on the database.

Now for lower matters: I didn't try the injected version. Does it run smooth on a european firmware? Also, I have to report that the "Have fierce deity mask" code from GMO puts the mask in the wrong spot: the one where giant's mask should be.
