Title: [SNES] Super Mario Brothers: Lost Levels [FB2N]
Post by: Zetta_X on May 08, 2009, 08:40:52 PM
I was looking for a multi-jump code, and I wounded with this address that looks like it controls whether or not you are on the ground or not.

For example, when I enable this code:

00435E5D 00000000

You can keep jumping but you can never come down. I am not very experienced in this stuff, but is there a way I can enable and disable this code by pushing specific buttons. or write an if statement so I can fall?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT:

I believe the value 0 recognizes I am on the ground, enabling me to jump as many times as I want. However, if I am on the ground, i can't fall. When I edit the value to 1, it keeps me on the ground because it tricks the game in thinking I am in the air.

Wondering if anything ever came of the jump code?  This game's a beast and having high jumps sure would make it better....also an invincibility code would be tremendous!!

 :)

I agree.  I would like to see an Invincibility code for this game, if possible.  Even a code where enemies do not touch you or a code to always remain Super Mario and/or Fire Mario would be just as great.  I'd be willing to try them out.  ^^

It's pretty much the same for all Mario Bros games to make the Infinite Health, Always Big or Fire Mario

This process well for me is pretty simple, but my method for it is quick and quite painful (for Mario atleast it's painful)
Start the game and your little Mario. Grab the mushroom. The mushroom is considered an upgrade. So do a search for 01. You should end up with a couple hundred results. Now in-game get hit one time. Your small Mario again, do a search for zero 00. You should have maybe less then 50 results. You can either finish the stage or my preference (which is the quickest) just kill yourself. Your at the beginning of the stage get your mushroom do the search for 01 again, and you should have less then 10 results. Get hit again to be small Mario and do a search for zero 00. You should have 1 result or atleast a handful. Simple get a mushroom again and see which one turns to 01.  Now that you have your code you can simply test out the values

00 Small Mario
01 Big Mario
02 Fireball Mario

Hey, I hear that when you beat the game, you get a star upon the SMB2 logo, and you can access the A-D worlds when you get eight stars.  So, is it possible to make a code that will put all eight stars on the title screen without having to beat the game eight times???  Please, anyone???

-Edit-

Also, can anyone modify the Infinite Lives code so that when you hold any button on the Wiimote (the A button is preferable since it does nothing) the code will be turned off.  I am asking this because I got to the end and got stuck because it would not stop tallying the lives you have left at the end.  @_@  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Alright, I went ahead and put a button mod on the Infinite Lives code.  Anytime your lives get low, push the A button on the Wiimote and the number of lives will go back up to 8, just be sure to keep tabs on them so you don't lose all of them.  Now, hopefully, I won't get stuck when I reach the end of world 8-4.  Here's the code (btw, I may have modified it, but credit still goes to the man who made the original code):

Hold A for Infinite Lives [farjo08]
281D7568 00000800
0043659A 00000008
E0000000 80008000

Now all that remains is my other code request, the one for all eight stars at the title screen.  Is anyone willing to help???  It would be so great, and I will test any and all codes.  Thanks in advance!
