A separate question from the previous thread since I'm at my wits end on the issue.
I followed all instructions to the letter in imputing codes, and Ocarina said the codes were found on my SD card, however when playing the game, nothing occurs.
I had someone who reverted to a lower update (3.2) try it and the codes worked, no issue.
I was told to use rebooter, however that doesn't work for 3.4. So the million dollar question is, does Ocarina not work with the latest update? Out of fear of bricking, I don't don't see downgrading as an option. So what the hell is going on?
I've tried every possible thing at my disposal and and come up with nothing.
get the gecko os and use it it still works like ocarana but u dont need to have a gecko os to use it i use gecko os 1.7 and it works with the update for me
I used Gecko OS, I'll have to check to make sure it's OS 1.7, since all I see is 1.07b.
EDIT: I downloaded the Gecko OS on this site for Homebrew and it was the same as the one I got from Homebrew Browser. 1.07b
The codes were found and 'activated' but not used in the game
Does it only work if a Gecko OS channel? If so, what's the best course of action for creating that with minimal risk to the Wii?
he said the name wrong. he ment 1.07b.
ok look tell me the list of codes u have on some times the codes knock each other out and rebooter will hopefully be fixed for update in 2.0

I used 1.07b, and it said the codes were found, but nothing happened...
Let me start from the beginning to see if there is an error in what I'm doing.
1. I got the WiiRD community code database and select NTSC-US 'F' and select Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn [RFEE01]
2. I then take this section from the site.

999999 part 1/Micaiah Gold [Am3692]
043CAAD2 000F423F
3. I create a text file, past the codes into it, and save the file as RFEE01.gct
4. I put RFEE01.gct into the folder 'codes' in my SD card
5. I then put the SD card into my Wii and select the Homebrew channel.
6. I go to Gecko OS 1.07b and select it, then make sure Ocarina is on whereas when I activate the game, it says it has found codes and is apply them.
7. Game is activated, codes are not applied, I am perturbed.
ok look i think ur codes here are wrong u need to captileize the E

There isn't a z on the Wiimote, you mean the nun-chuck, correct?
Also what should I this be tagged as?
well the first 2 should work because u cant have a lower case E in the bottem code so if they dont work idk wat to tell u other then make sure u have them in correctly

I copy and pasted them directly from the forum, no way there should be an issue. Is there a guy who worked on Gecko who might have an idea with the issue?
thats ur problem u need to click download select all and cop and paste in a not pad save it as RFEE01 then u click file and click open txt and then u pick ur codes simple if not i tried my best to help

Wait, could you translate that into coherent english?
I click download in the Fire Emblem page, get the blank version, where I then paste it onto a notepad, then then I click on the file and pick the codes.
HOW DO I PICK THE CODES!?!?!?
EDIT: What do I do with the code you wrote since doesn't it need a tag?
ok look 1 ignore my codes 2. ull se a check box by each of the codes in the list if u need me to take pictures i will
You know what? Normally I wouldn't but since I'm at my wits end and am one step away from jumping up and down and throwing my shit in handfuls at the goddamn television in some impotent primal effort to get the thing to work... Sure. Please create these said images and post them. I will give you a thank you for the effort.

The gct file format is NOT in plaintext, so saving a text file with a gct extension will not work. You need to use code manager (http://wiird.l0nk.org/dl/codemgr1.1.zip) to export the codes you want to use to a gct file.

The problem there is that it's only for windows, I use a Macintosh. I'm trying to use the Code Manager app for homebrew, but it's just acting skitzo with the codes and the interface is all messed up.
god fine ill make the pics now
I must be a child playing a fiendish game against god, I'm trying the code manager for homebrew and finally got it to where it's coherent, but now even though it says it creates codes. IT DOESN'T...
EDIT: If you want something done right, you got to do it yourself, success
I found another code manager (wiicm) since, I'll be frank, the one here has better interface, but the execution blows.
I'll stay on my toes however

well i dont rly need to use these becuase i have a gecko os now so i can hack games myself but to hard to figure out on the one game that has no codes >.< its impossible and no one wants to help
Thanks, but I can't use that program since I'm a Macintosh user, they haven't made a code manager for Mac.
Maybe you should get Radiant Dawn since I can't get a break since the first code "Inf Player HP" seems to affect ALL units (Allied and Enemy) Is it because of the capital E?
Shouldn't the code manager run in applications like CrossOver?

It can, but I'm to much of a tight-ass to go out and buy new programs, since it would really be just for this an one or two other fan made games, not very economical.

Try this then (it's a simple program for Mac OS X that filters out codes from a txt file and converts them into a gct file):
txt2gct (http://brkirch.googlepages.com/txt2gct.zip)
