Title: Question about GeckoOS
Post by: GHNeko on December 20, 2008, 06:53:57 PM
Why is it that whenever I use GeckoOS, data is not saved. It wasnt an issue before for Brawl, but now that I have a JP game, I need to use GeckoOS to go regin free, but the issue with that is that all my button settings and content unlock is gone after I turn off the game, and it causes me to redo everything. It will get espcially annoying when I find a second character that I like to play as is an unlockable..which is already happened I believe, since I enjoy playing as Viewtiful Joe, but he's an unlockable.

Can anyone shed some light for me?

What game is it? Maybe you need to click save somewhere?

Tastunoku vs Capcom.

It has autosave...like most games. It's happened in Brawl. I change a setting but it never saves that setting.

Are you forcing anything? Or using codes?

Nope. All I do is change the language to Japanese for TvC.

When I boot Brawl, the language is default, but I use codes.

Each game has its own save file already. But anywho, I have PLENTY of space left. Both SD and console.

install a disk update that came with any game after ssbb or online and redowngrade to your version... to me it sounds like a corrupted IOS

1.7b.

I checked TvC and re-enabled Autosave and its been working, but I still have the occasional failed saves.

Sounds like what Hetoan said, or maybe this is just a bug with some imports...hmmm

Could dual disc layer be affecting it?

The thing is.  I've only updated twice, and other than that, I havnt done any updates, unless HBC messed with my IOS when installing it. :/
