Title: GeckoOS Not Found on SD Card???
Post by: PrismShard on December 18, 2008, 07:31:16 PM
Okay, I downloaded the HBC few hours ago and went through the GeckoOS instructions, including downloading the files: boot.dol, icon and meta to my SD card. Now, when I put my SD card into the Wii and click the HBC, all I get is a blank screen (i.e. just the homebrew screen, you know, with the bubbles and shit) and no Gecko channel to click. What have I done wrong??

if you can load homebrew channel and not any apps, giving you another app is no use to you. like giving a monkey a  looking glass. lets see who gets the poetic reference?

Extract the files untill you get a folder in which are the 3 files [Boot, meta, img] However if all 3 aren't included...you only need boot.dol
Click back, and copy that folder!

Example, if it's like this:

Homebrew Browser
           Homebrew Browser
                   Boot.dol
                   meta
                   img

Copy

Homebrew Browser
           Homebrew Browser <---- This folder
                   Boot.dol
                   meta
                   img

Then put it in sdcard/apps/pastefolderhere
