Team Twiizers still left some bugs in 1.0 so they made 1.0.1
Changelog:
Quote * Fixed B button issues (app screen corruption, crash on B+A)
* Wiimotes now keep the ordering from the System Menu (libogc) (note: they’ll switch again when you boot apps that haven’t been updated like HBC has - but they would have switched anyway, and HBC can use all Wiimotes, so you don’t lose anything while those apps are updated)
* Hopefully fixed the USB Ethernet issues (couldn’t find a tester, even without a USB Gecko… it’s like they all disappeared after reporting the bug. Hope this fixes it)
* Fixed wiimote auto-shutdown (libogc) (now you don’t need a ridiculously perfectly still wiimote for it to shut down - playing music won’t cause your wiimote batteries to die)
* Hopefully fixed “video after shutdown” issues (libogc)
* Changes to () -> *

I can confirm that i have usb ethernet connection after this update.
I like the "Changes to () -> *"
I updated to 1.0 last night and i saw this just now, so I went to the HBC and it came up saying there's a new update so I clicked yes to download it, and it keeps stopping at 4% :(
Anyone else having the same problem?
Also what does this mean: "Changes to () -> *"
Thanks. :D

I had that at first but I retried and it worked
"Changes to () -> *" is an easter egg :D

LOL that made me laugh :D :P
It's still not working Romaap, i'm gonna download it from the site :P
EDIT: it's working now :P (I removed GC controller in port 1 and it worked :D)
The new installer is much more sexier :P
Hehe, nice to see these guys working hard...thank you Team Twiizers.
And when you exit HBC now it takes you to the System Menu :D :P
hey i just updated to 1.01 now my geckoOS wont load. also im running on a 3.3u, can anyone help? or is there another app to run region free?
Use this version of GeckoOS...
http://www.usbgecko.com/files/geckohb9.zip (http://www.usbgecko.com/files/geckohb9.zip)
use an elf to dol converter it will keep all of your non-working apps updated to work with the new HBC. except geexbox and wiilinux don't work, but they are one of the few elfs that actually do work :D yay for linux based elfs :P
thanks alot guys i really appreaciate your help! now im ready to play my tatsunoku vs capcom!
you could use Homebrew Browser to update all your .elf files to .dol
hey guys i have an unmodded wii running homebrew, do i need a wii brickblocker to run an import?
No. GeckoOS will bypass the update partition of the disc, so a brick blocker is not required.
I have a question okay i saw the update i have version3.4us on my wii i didn't find out about the update until after i updated it and for the new homebrew update it says its only been tested with a different version not the one i have what do you reccomend i do??? i dont want it to mess up my wii
Try to use this version of the Homebrew Channel installer...
http://hbc.hackmii.com/dist/the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz (http://hbc.hackmii.com/dist/the_homebrew_channel-1.0.1.tar.gz)
Anyway, even if this file still says it, it should be safe to install onto your console.
Hehe, 111, your posts are at 222...
anyways, what is the HB Browser? Never come across it :-[
Homebrew Browser - WiiBrew (http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_Browser)
The Homebrew Browser allows you to download homebrew applications from your Wii internet connection, without having to connect the SD card to your computer. It can also allow you to delete homebrew applications from your SD card.
Never mind, found it when I checked for Homebrew updates today but thanks anyway!
Bubbles pop! *pop* *pop* Yay! Fun!
