On the bottom of the screen by the gun are five circles everytime you take damage one or half of one turns black. I have tried searching for values 1-5 in 32,16,8 bit modes and then 100 ,80 ,60 ,40, 20 in hex but I can't anything just addresses that don't do anything when poked. This should be a code found using the method in the Super Mario Galaxy tutorial but so far nothing I have even turned off all cheats I was using but still nothing in mem1

Try an unknown value search.
it is probably an floating point value.
I tired unknown value search no luck. How do you look for floating point.
just the same as normal hex value but a positive value is from 0 to 78000000 and negative is from 80000000 to F8000000
you can convert a floating point to hex by typing the FP value in the search box and rightclick and press convert to float.
no luck with floating points.
This is the one I am trying to find this is from the pal version
Infinite GUN [ZiT]
04148830 60000000
it's an ASM overwrite.
you need to ask the original hacker what the original value is.

poking it with 6000000 doesn't have any effect.
