Title: Saving Gamecube game files without a memory card
Post by: michael2016 on August 02, 2008, 07:01:53 AM
Hi all,

I've got a stack of gamecube games but don't have a memory card to save them with. Can I get the USB gecko to transfer the save data to and from my wii to my pc as a substitute for not having the memory card itself??

It's practically impossible to find one here in Australia

Gamecube Games don't store saves on the Wii, just direct to Memory Card.

You can pick up 128MB, 64MB memory cards on ebay very cheap nowadays, its well worth to invest in one.

USB Gecko has a memory card manager for Gamecube which is very handy for backing up saves or using Gameshark or GCI cheat saves.
