Title: The Legend of Zelda Cheats Disables In Game Music? [RZDE01]
Post by: FireWire on August 02, 2008, 12:18:20 AM
I used the Zelda codes [RZDE01], the cheats worked fine. But the only thing is it seems to disable the music somehow, any fix to that? You know Zelda is well known for the music, without it is like half of the game is gone.

It's a problem with using Ocarina and Gecko OS with Zelda. We're not sure why it happens.

Yes it will be looked into, still alot to improve on the compatibility side of things, but its often slow as things like apploaders and DOL files have to be examined.

They will not work. I still haven't been able to get ahold of a mem1 ram dump for the game so I can port it over and I don't have the money to rent it. (it's more than 9 dollars to rent a game here! >_< )

I'm very curious though, what codes DO work?

He either meant htat you need USB Gecko since you own the right game.  Or, he posted an answer to another question in the wrong thread... :confused

Either way, it doesn't make sense as an answer to what he asked.

Would it be wrong or ill of me to offer a Mem1 dump? PM me about it, if you like.

Thank you but I've already received one. ;)

We need to get a private, hackers-only forum here so we can exchange info like this amongst each other without the prying eyes of big brother. Like ARCentral has ^_^

That sounds good James0x57
Maybe if we all dump a mem1 dump and post them there for the games which have codes there will be more codes up for other regions and more credit for the codes for the original hacker.

:)
