Hi, I'm pretty new to this so please bear with me.
I've got the homebrew channel and wiigator Backup launcher already installed
I'm trying to get the geckoOS up and running so I can reboot and load multi region disks as some of them do not work through the back up launcher.
I've followed the instructions at the the GeckoOS site and put the relevant 1.7b files into the apps folder on my Sd card but when I launch the channel it just says this is not a valid wii app.
A friend did the initial set up so on my SD I've attached a shot of the file structure on the SD card I'm not sure if I need all these files or if some of them are stopping the 1.7b program from working properly.
Any help much appreciated!!!
Got you, thx for that, saved me a whole lot of pain, my machine is still in warranty so not chipped :-[

Installing wiigator Backup launcher more than likely invalidates your warranty
Using a Freeloader probably invalidates your warranty. The issue is whether Nintendo can detect it. As long as you remove the homebrew (be it backup launching homebrew, region free homebrew, or cheating homebrew) before you send it in for service, they can't tell. A drivechip, on the other hand, is very easy to spot, and not feasible to remove all traces of before sending in it for service.
