Title: Problem with Metroid Prime 3 and WIIRD
Post by: shark2003 on July 31, 2008, 01:26:28 PM
Wii reboots after code search...I know this a known issue with Metroid Prime 3 is there any chance that this will ever be fixed to allow us to search for codes in this game?? I could almost do some code searches if I just leave WIIRD running while I restart the game but eventually either WIIRD crashes or the game locks up...

I remember there was a fair bit of info on the other board about this, where Kenobi and Foxx found there was a certain area which crashed the game if dumped, also lots of graphics glitches.

using a different hook location might sort the glitching out, as currently it uses on VI which may have effect, if i use a wpad read hook it might sort this issue out. It could also be the handler needs some modification.

I will try to pick up this game and find whats happening.

That would be great Nuke,I think alot of people would appreciate it if we could do some code searches in this game..

Is there a way using the WIIRD Command Console mode that you can tell it to hook a certain way??
