Title: WiiRd.
Post by: Bletotum on October 18, 2008, 06:48:15 PM
RZDE02 Twilight game.

I've noticed in the game list that it isn't supported.

Any plans of adding support for the game?

This was heavily edited, from before I noticed the game list.

EDIT:

Well I can see that I'll get no help. Locking...

RZDE02 - is that the second version of US Zelda?

That should work... and seriously: you created that topic and can't wait for an answer like for 24 hours?

Too impatient. :/

Anyway, I noticed that it wasn't in the supported game list, and that Gecko OS treats my V2 disk like a V1, also making cheats not work.

What might I be doing wrong?

That's a tough one I guess:

according to http://www.usbgecko.com/codes/index.php?r=u&c=RZDE01 - while both Zelda versions have the same game id, the memory addresses are different: most codes are unmakred and probably only for Zelda v1 and a few are marked "for v2" - I'd assume only the "for v2" marked ones will work.

I was using V2 codes, that were marked as that, and the 'must be on' code that is marked as needed for V2.

Is there anything that I can do?

The codes work fine in Ocarina. Just, the game has no sound either.

So it seems to be sound vs cheating.
