Title: super smash bros brawl (NTSC-U) on a pal wii
Post by: Jassim on October 18, 2008, 06:35:37 PM
before nintendo made that update to block region free, i used to have american brawl and its realy strange, i couldnt play on 60 hz mode (unless i wanted to play with  a black screen) until i unlock all the characters and why is this a problem?

when i play on 50 hz mode, 50% of the time its in slow mo and i have to restart which is a pain in the ass with gecko os coz i have to take the dvd out as fast as i can before that error message comes up. plus if u use marios down b or squirtles standard b, the game jams just like when u do ahack that makes ur game jam. so my question is:

can i do ANYTHING with the settings to make it so that i can play without these problems ad oh btw, if i dont change the settings apart from allow region free, i play it in blak and white, no game jamming, no slow mo, just black and white but still annoying.

oh and btw i have all the characters in my us brawl.

so any suggestions as to what i could do with the settings oz 80% of the options i dont get

May of taken a while for a reply jassim but try GeckoOS and force PAL60 and see if that boots. The reason why it runs slow in 50Hz is because the game always runs at a constant speed of 60Hz, so the framerate wasn't high enough, so that explains why the game runned slow.

Oh Yeah, your TV doesn't support 60hz so you can't get it in colour, get a new TV, now can a mod lock this thread?
