So. I did. U have to know. Normaly i am not that dumb with computers. :) But Vista is a bit new for me.

I did the installation. And i put the Gecko in the Slot B of the Wii. I started a game with Gecko OS (1.07b) and it still says can't connect. :( Do i use the wrong Gecko OS Version? I need the 1.06 F1?

Greetings and again big thx

your computer has to see the usbgecko as a USB serial converter, if it isn't you did something wrong.

I wasn't sure what is was, but I just checked, you have to see a green square in bottom left with a gecko in it

but do you see a square at the bottom left?
when my USBGecko isn't connected it is grey and when it is connected it is green.

Yes i can see it and its green. So what can be the problem? I didn't change the version of Gecko OS so its still 1.07b. And WiiRD is also the latest 0.91 i think. But it still can't connect...

Don't use that, it has so many bugs you won't believe. It's not the Gecko OS version, it's most likely the connection to and from your computer. Or heck, it could even be the USB Gecko itself.

Have you got this screen on your wii when you have booted the geckoOS from the hombre channel .

If so put your game in and start WiiRD. do not start WiiRD before you get to this screen.

No. I only have one computer. :) But if GeckoOs is green it can't be the USBGecko itself? So what u think i should do?

Greetings

edit: Yes i have this screen. And it also says can't connect. I try to restart my computer.

edit2: *lol* How stupid i am. I just needed to restart my computer. Now it works. So thanks for all your help.
