Okay, this is certainly my very first post here, but I'm pretty familiar with forum etiquette. As such, I made sure to look through the sticky threads before posting this. If I missed something, please point me in the right direction, thanks...
Anyway, onto my problem. I've only recently been using USB Gecko cheats on Brawl. Thus far, I've only done a handful of them:
-Code to drop tripping modifier to 0%.
-Code to unlock all stickers, trophies and challenges
-Code to play as Giga Bowser
I did use these codes without turning them off during one wi-fi match (literally one of them). Obviously nothing interesting happened (the Giga Bowser code isn't the one that works online, though I'm determined to find the one that does), and the person I was playing didn't see anything.
Okay, so I turn off the Wii, removed the memory card, and all sort of weird things start happening. First, I got through a few matches on wi-fi when suddenly the game let out a high-pitched tone and froze on "ready for battle" (note: I was NOT using codes at this time, and haven't used any music/stage modifiers). I figured it might be a fluke, so I played some more online, and the game started freezing, giving me disconnect screens (as in a black screen with the disconnect message window), and doing weird things in general (for instance, playing as Pokemon Trainer, I got desynched with my opponent - he saw my pokemon get stuck in its own pokeball!).
So, obviously, this is sort of a major problem. Any idea what I can do to fix this? Thanks.
It isnt only the music modifiers that stuff up your music. Try using the music fixers
I was afraid of that... I'll have to use each and every stage's code, one after another, I'm guessing. And even then I'm not sure that will fix it.

You can restore your save with the Save Installer if you backed it up before.
But the weird thing is, I just had a dream last night of my Wii crashing/acting weird without any codes on. :eek:
you don't have to use all MyMusic fixer. it's most likely just Mushroomy Kingdom and Luigi's Mansion. You're better off checking in the myMusic-menu which stages are defect.
This should've gone into the Brawl support (http://www.usbgecko.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258) thread because this error has been covered NUMEROUS times and doesn't need a new thread each time someone encounters this error. Hell, it's even stated in the first post of both Brawl code threads what causes the problem and how to have a back up plan for if it does happen.
Problem with that, SMK: I wasn't here at these forums before this started happening. I came here after the problem happened for the solution. Also, the thread you indicated isn't a sticky and isn't on the help forum, so I had no way of knowing to look for it.
I appreciate the help, but it was an honest mistake, and not laziness on my part.

You still should've read the first pages of either Brawl code thread if you managed to get ANY of the codes that cause this issue.
You're still held accountable for not reading into it.
Well, for that I apologize. What I ended up doing was just going in and replacing the save file with a full-unlocked save file. I lost all of my replays of course (though I backed them up just in case I decide to fix it after all), but in the end it was the easiest solution.
Thanks for the help, guys, and I'm sorry I didn't read enough into the problem before posting this. I mostly just needed immediate, direct feedback on the issue. I'll try and read a little bit more of the topics in the future.
