Title: Sadly I just heard about this, and I already updated to 3.3.

Sorry new to the forum, and can't get the answers  on gamefaqs.

I Just found about this great program and this homebrew channel, but have already updated the Wii Console to 3.3u, I can't seem to find the answer I need, I bought an SD card to be able to set all this up, but realized my version might not work with this program, and I don't want to brick my Wii attempting it.

I just wanted to know if this version of GeckoOS is able to be installed with homebrew or not on the most up to date version of Wii console, cause I was going to buy the new One Piece to play and didn't want to waste the money if possible.

Sorry for the trouble and thanks and if possible a link to what I need would be great.

doesn't depend on the Wii version. you just install Homebrew Channel by using Twilight Hack Beta to load the installation, you put Gecko OS on the apps-directory on your SD-Card, start Homebrew-Channel, AAAAAAAAAAA, ???????????, Profit.

You should still be able to install the homebrew channel if you get the fixed updated version of the Twilight Hack that came out shortly after the 3.3 update. Look around the internet for the updated twilight hack, you can go here and get it----> //www.tehskeen.com

Hi,

I'm also new, but the way I got Gecko OS working on my Wii (3.3j) was via the Homebrew Channel - http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_Channel. You should find all the information you need to get Gecko OS running on that website.

Sorry if my answer was incomplete or inadequate.

Cheers!

P.S.: Wow, you people are fast.

For background information, the System Menu 3.3 disabled the old Twilight Hack, but within 6 hours of the update going live it had already been overridden! Sloppy code by Nintendo = h4xx0rs for everyone!
