Hello,
I'm new to the forum and new to geckoOS.
When I try to run GeckoOS, it starts loading but stops at 0%. This happens when I try to load it from Homebrew channel (Version 1.6f) or when I try to load it with DVD (Version 1.6d fixed). :cry
The USBGecko is in Slot B, if it is in Slot A GeckoOS load in a second but the Gecko in the left lower corner is grey. There is no GC memory card in any slot.
Hope You can help.

Newer version from what? I thought that the 1.6f is the newest version. :confused
Please some more info.
At the moment nothing loads, have also tried the "USB Gecko Wii Mode Ripper By MonkeyKF" -> same behavior.
Where to look next??

the unit probably is faulty, contact your reseller for replacement, or
[email protected]
Arent we up to version 1.06G now, and quickly coming into a 1.06H?
Isn't he talking about the homebrew channel not loading it? This happens when gamecube memory cards are left in when booting the homebrew channel. (Remove GC memcards)
But he has no Memcards, and still! :)
I get the same problem, it was working fine yesterday, I stopped playing it yesterday, went to bed woke up and tried to load it...and now it gets to 0% on the HBC menu, i didnt change anything. I took the memory card out of slot A(it was working with it in yesterday) and it didnt work. Ive formatted the card and downloaded GeckoOS again but it still didnt work...
Acctualy it did work once when I was doing this but the game didnt load and so I had to reset the console but the HBC didnt load GeckoOS when i tried again
if you have a USB Gecko.. unplug it, start a game manually and then try debugging by just launching WiiRd.. it should even work if you didn't hook through WiiRd.
If it does not work.. then probably the Gecko OS unit is faulty.
Nope i dont have USB Gecko. All I have is HBC and GeckoOS(the one with Gamecube support).
I just tested it just now and its working again...
Oh well
I have encountered this problem once.
I turned off my wii, removed the SD card, blew into the SD slot, inserted the card, loaded Brawl normally, and saved a snapshot to the SD card, then restarted and it loaded when I tried again.
It's memory slot B that's causing problems, not slot A. Remove that too.
As far as I know it's because the HBC is looking for the USBGecko an just freezes when it can't find one.
