My aim is to make the E21 line poke another value, instead of continously writing it.

Example:

20XXXXXX YYYYYYY
04ZZZZZZ 12345678
E2100000 00000000
04ZZZZZZ 98765432
E0000000 80008000

This code compares, if address 80XXXXXX has Value YYYYYYY.
If not, it should "POKE" the value 98765432 but the E21 codestype permanently writes the value.

kenobi said the E21 "else" code doesn't work.

For the record in my first post in that thread were i used the E21 codes, the code did work, but kenobi's way with the gecko registers seemed a better option after he said the E21 codetype was buggy/useless.

bully its not the E21 line doing the constant write, its just the 04 code after it

maybe you could use the A8 (if counter =) codetype to simulate a poke by making it write once and then have the counter count to a really high number that wont get reached again before the game ends.

Although if the max counter value was FFFF at 60 fps it would take (i think) 18 minutes for the counter to reset and the code to execute again.

I may be way off on this though as I have only used that codetype for making one shot button activators.

thx, it´s a good idea to use the A8 codestype.
