How do you shut a switch right off? I don't want to toggle it, because it's random every time.
I want to completely disable the switch with a button press.

Thanks!

example random code:

write

283984A2 0000YYYY <-- button activator
04123456 XXXXXXXX <-- activate if pressed
E2100000 00000000 <-- if else
04123456 FFFFFFFF <-- change back to original if not pressed (put here your original instrucion/value)
E0000000 80008000 <-- full terminator

or you include 2 button activators.

283984A2 0000YYYY
04123456 XXXXXXXX <-- new instrucion
E0000000 80008000
283984A2 0000YYYY
04123456 FFFFFFFF <-- original instrucion
E0000000 80008000

CC000000 00000000 works too.

283984A2 0000YYYY
04123456 XXXXXXXX
CC000000 00000000
04123456 FFFFFFFF
E0000000 80008000

Elaborate on your goal.  Do you have an example code that you're starting with?  What do you mean "random every time"?

I think with CC switch, a value of 0 means on and 1 means off.  If you use a 4E code and a 14 code, you can make a button activator that writes 1 to the switch to turn it off.
