Geck OS: too many code lines?

Alright; so I installed Homebrew on my own Wii some time ago and it works perfectly fine. Now today I installed Homebrew on a friend's Wii and I'm having some problems. All that my friend really wants is to be able to use the costume codes for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so I don't need a lot of help, I just need to figure out if I forgot to install something or if I did a mistake somewhere.
All that I've done so far is:
-Installed Homebrew Channel (it's on the menu and works)
-set up the apps/codes/WAD/data/bootmii folders on the SD card (these should all be fine)
-set up all of the costumes correctly (I copied my own, definitely no mistakes)

His Gecko OS is bringing up an error message that says that I'm using too many code lines while my Wii does not do this. I only have a couple of codes on for his Brawl, namely All Trophies/Stickers, and the File Patch Code v.3.5.1 (beta) code.
What are some of the things that I may have done incorrectly that would result in Gecko OS saying I have to many code lines?

-Edit-
Whoops, I forgot; his Wii System Menu is v.3.4 and I used the correct Twilight Hack too.

Do you have the latest version of Gecko? (see the big text on the top of this page)

Yes I do, the same Gecko OS works on mine, but it doesn't matter anymore.
I finally get the thing to work, I don't even know what was wrong because it works now and I didn't change anything.  ???
Thanks anyway.
