GaseousSnake

Hello.  Having acquired GeckoOS I tested it with my Zelda game (v2) and the v2 codes seem to work just fine.  But I seem to be having a problem with the v1 codes I'm using.  The v1 codes I'm using are for Infinite Health, Infinite Lantern Oil, and Infinite Arrows, but all three codes don't seem to work.  -_-  Like I said, though, the v2 codes I'm using (Infinite Bombs, Full Wallet, and Infinite Slingshot Seeds) all seem to work.  I even tried the Infinite Health code by itself with no codes on, and with and without the Must Be On code on.  Still nothing.  :cry

I'm thinking that The v1 codes need to be updated to v2 after all.  I'd do it myself but I'm terrible at hex converting.  -_-

It's actually due to the fact of the version changing of GeckoOS+Ocarina, making the Must Be On code for v2 not work (I believe so anyways). Try using the original Ocarina and not the GeckoOS + Ocarina combination.

Not to be too nitpicky or anything (and please forgive me if I am being rude), but if the problem lies in the Must Be On code coupled with the GeckoOS+Ocarina, then how come the v2 codes work with it and not the v1 ones???  I mean, the MBO code was made for the purpose of making the v2 codes work right???  And the v1 codes should be following along, right???  *sigh* I don't know, I must be missing something here.  :(

Anyway, even though I had the original Ocarina already, I tried it and the codes work, but no sound or music could be heard.  Actually, the reason for me getting GeckoOS+Ocarina in the first place was so the music/sound problem could be corrected.  So I guess now I am facing a moral dilemma here: either use Ocarina and get all codes to work with no music, or use GeckoOS+Ocarina and have the music enabled with only a few codes working.  I certainly hope for the third alternative: that if in fact that it is a problem with the MBO code, then I hope someone fixes it so that it works with GeckoOS+Ocarina.

I'm rooting for all you hackers out there.  I know one of you can do it.  :clap

I updated the "Master Code" for v2. It SHOULD work with all versions of the code handler (even future ones)..

Please (anyone) test it for me :P

Please test it along with one of the v1 codes, like Infinite Arrows.

Thank you. :)

I can seem to get every code to work besides the Super Claw shot, and the basic item codes.. But I've had the Master Sword, Ordon sword, Hylian shield, etc before.. that was with hetoan's help.

(This was directed at James.)

Do you have TP USA v2?
Are you using the current Gecko OS + Ocarina or just the original Ocarina?
Did you use the code I just posted ^?
Did you also use it with Infinite Arrows? If yes, did you have infinite arrows?

If someone tests it and it didn't work, please be specific about what you did/what codes you used and tell if the game froze or not.
Thanks.

I used the new MBO Code with ONLY Infinite Health and Infinite Lantern Oil, and I used it with GeckoOS+Ocarina, and the code didn't work.  Link could still get hurt and he still started with three hearts, and his lantern meter was still wearing down.

I have v2 of Zelda: TP by the way.

Was the MBO code the first one on the list of codes so that the other codes came AFTER it?

If yes, I suspect the codetypes I used to be at fault. Which will take me some time to look into. :(

Yes, I put the MBO code first before all codes, just as you instructed.  I keep double checking to ensure I put it first and have it on before trying the codes, but the v1 codes still don't seem to work.

However long it takes, James0x57, I will wait.  I'm a patient man and I know you'll do your best.  ^^

Okay, I don't think this code works either.  When I tried to load the game using GeckoOS+Ocarina, and it said the words "Found SD codes.  Applying" at the bottom, it just froze there.  I waited for a while but the screen just remained frozen.  I couldn't get out, couldn't turn the power off or go back to the Wii Menu so I had to unplug it.  Sorry, dude.  -_-

BTW, I enabled this MBO code with the Infinite Health code.  I'll just keep using this v1 code as a tester till something happens.  ^^

James0x57

lol, just hold the power button for 15 seconds if that happens again.

Thanks for testing all these for me, I appreciate it. :)

Ah you're welcome.  I've got nothing better to do today so I figure why not test some codes.  :lol

Anyhow, back to seriousness, the latest MBO code got me past the GeckoOS+Ocarina main screen and booted the game up, but the Infinite Health code still won't work.  Keep trying, I know you'll get it!  :)

All But last Hidden Skills Learned*

All Hidden Skills Learned**
04493140 FFFFFE00

*Purposely done to allow learning of the last skills and getting around the first yellow wolf by the entrance of the forest temple.

**If using this code at the start of the game, you will need the Link Form switch code and turn a wolf to get around the yellow one, by the entrance of the forest temple.

Another important note is after the last skill is learned avoid any and all Yellow Wolf, as you will enter his realm and he will not be their. Then you will be stuck in his realm. If you save in his realm, the game may think you collected all the artifact and have none shown in the menu (picture of link or wolf).

I'm still not sure if mine is V2.. The back says "RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN S0"
