"Not a valid Wii App"

I'm trying to help a friend get Gecko OS 1.7b to work on his Wii, but he is saying that when he tries to start Gecko OS from his Homebrewchannel that he gets the error message, "Not a valid Wii App". He also mentioned that everything was working fine until Homebrew asked him to update.

He updated to the Beta 9 version of the Homebrew Channel.  Most ELF files currently do not work on it, so he will need to use this DOL version of GeckoOS...
