HELP! Mom trying to install USB Gecko for son..IM CLUELESS!!

Go to My Computer and right click your SD Card and click format.
Make sure the file system is set to FAT and hit start.

And 1 last thing before we begin
If you son cares about his twilight princess save game(i bet he does) you will want to back it up to the sd card.
Go to your wii and put the sd card in, go to wii options and Save Data and find your twilight princess save, copy it to the sd card then delete it from the wii system.
Then copy the PRIVATE folder on to you computer again(different place, dont erase the other private folder).
And reformat you SD card when you are done.

im not tryin to confuse anyone but im kinda confused myself when i downloaded homebrew the first time i didnt format my sd card and i had alot of info on it from brawl and everything workd just fine

heidi: after you have done all of what igilly boo said look at the bottom of your TP disk It will say the game ID and the some thing like 01 or 02 after that boot up loz TP and select the save file that matches the # on the bottom of the disc then talk to the man. It should pull up a black screen and follow the instructions then after it should load back to the main menu and the homebrew channel on the wii (hope that helped)  :P :P also when bootmii comes out ( www.hackmii.com ) install it on your wii  :D :D

after that you should be up and running
