Today, I booted up my HBC as usual, then went on with Gecko OS, which was functional since I first started hacking teh wii, AND after I mis-updated it to 3.4.....

But, when I loaded it, it simply loaded the regular screen, but the black box with the options was replaced with just..... a black box.

If I press reset, it gives me an error dump
If I wait, THEN press reset, nothing happens.

I forced the wii off (pressing power button for 10 seconds), then tried again, but then the horror:

"System files corrupt. Please refer to the Wii operations manual"

Rebooted again, warning never appeared again. However, Gecko OS refused to load anyways. It keeps freezing in the "Gecko OS Menu", without any options, just the headers, borders, etc, and a black box.

I reinstalled it, and still NADA.

Any tips?

Just a guess, but do you have a GameCube Memory Card inserted into the Wii?

Yes, slot A....

But it always worked with it inserted....

EDIT: Whoa, I checked it, someone put my 2nd mem card in slot B. Removed it, it's working now.
The mem card was black, thats why I could spot it xD

Many thanks!
