Star Trek Conquest [RTJE68]

I tested this through Gecko OS 1.06d colorfix. The game and all of its elements work fine, but if you enter a skirmish battle, weird glitches are created. For instance, the music will load too early (creating strange effects), the battle may never end if you win, freezing may occur, or the skirmish may never load after the intro cutscene that shows your ships fly in (the music keeps playing, but the battle will never start. :mad: It remains at a black screen). This was tested on a backup copy by the way.

I must note that campaign appears to work fine just as long as you take on every battle in instant or simulation mode. If you choose arcade (aka skirmish mode) the glitches begin.

Anyways, just something to be thought about in a later fix. Star Trek Conquest isn't a huge title, so it obviously doesn't need to be fixed any time soon, but it would be nive if it could be fixed one day. It would be fun to mess around with on WiiRD. :irule:

I found the fix for the code as I was experiencing the same problem.   Just add the memory range check code of DE000000 80008180 before the money code by the_dave and it will let you exit from arcade battle, which I find to be much more fun than a simulation.
